Description
The Central Library supports the multidisciplinary learning needs of the students, faculty members, and researchers, equipped with automated facilities, including a digital repository, e-learning platforms, and dedicated study zones. The library fosters an environment conducive to knowledge acquisition and innovation. The Central Library is committed to providing seamless access to the reservoir of resources that aligns with the Institute's vision of excellence in education, research, and technological advancement. The Central Library is divided into distinct Sections such as Acquisition, Circulation, Outer Reading Area/Digital Library, Research Support, Library Office and Book Bank. Each Section is being looked after by a senior library professional, and all the Section Heads report to the Librarian (Head, Central Library) through the Deputy Librarian and work under his leadership. The library policies are advised by the Library Advisory Committee (LAC), which is heading by a Senior Professor. The Central Library’s collection consists of print and digital resources predominantly in engineering and technology along with science, management and humanities, etc.
